Our heroes and plan to counter ISIS?

June 20, 2017

Bombing, suicide bombers, shooting and millions dies. All of these can be done very easily by none other than the terrorists.Innocent people die all the time when these terrorists are present and they pose a huge threat in today's society as they create the troubles around the world. No one knows when or where the terrorists will strike next. The biggest terrorist group that is currently sending chills down everyone’s spines as they carry out attacks all around the world is ISIS.

Present and voting echoes through the council hall as the third council session of 20 June 2017 begins. Parties and delegates are gathered to discuss the current issues going around the world which are terrorists attack as Singapore will never know when it will be attacked. Hence, the council has started a debate to discuss ideas on how to protect Singapore from these attacks.

The Ministry of Law assured everyone that they will have an investigation task force which is made up of the police and undercover agents to investigate issues. This investigation task force will look into border control to ensure the terrorists are not infiltrating from the borders. The Ministry of Law mentioned that they would prosecute all the suspects if they are actually deemed a suspect. However, if they are under the age of 18 years old, they will go to the juvenile center.

The delegate representing the Ministry of Law will engage the Non-government organisations (NGO) and religious organisations to dispel the false beliefs of all the anti Muslim Organisations and explain to the community that Islam and terrorists are different. He will also use the media to stop the myth that the Ministry is not doing anything.

This is very agreeable as it is a very strong method to keep terrorists out by having more manpower to go around helping to identify and spot these terrorists.

Many groups agreed with the delegate representing the Ministry of Law. The delegate representing Tharman Shanmugaratnam also suggested that in order to stop the terrorists threats, the citizens need to be of higher intelligence, so that the terrorists can be detected. Hence, they will be working with the Ministry of Defence. The community needs to corporate and work together so that they can help those who are afraid of terrorists to find their confidence.

What they have suggested allows for more manpower to be allocated and having many other party to support it makes our community safer and better for everyone.

The delegate representing the Workers’ Party agreed with the delegate representing the Ministry of Law as they felt that the idea was valid. The Swiss club however was very upset that an opposition party, the Workers’ Party, was siding with the Minister as they felt that it is not legal. This is because they feel that the Ministry using social media is like the government is tracking everyone. But other parties and delegates, like Ms Grace Fu,  supports it and feels that it allows for a sense of responsibility.

Everyone should stay calm as that is what the parties and delegates believe is the most important. Opposition parties such as the Workers’ party agrees with the Ministry of Law on their idea of keeping terrorists out and keeping Singapore protected. This allows all parties and delegates to agree and work together which allows a huge amount of manpower to make things work.
